A Little About Me...
My name is James Arthur Scott and I've been a big league pitcher for 19 years, 6 in Chicago and 13 in New York. I've won 3 world championships, one with Chicago and two with New York. I'm 13 wins from 300 and 2 strikeouts away from 3000. 2008 will be my 20th season, and possibly my last.
I have a wonderful wife, Vanessa, and two beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Grace. They're twins, so they share the same birthday.
I grew up in a baseball home. My dad, "Red" Scott, pitched for 8 different teams over 9 seasons. He's been a broadcaster for the last 25 years, most recently in Toronto. In 2008, he'll be broadcasting his son's games. My games. Let's hope his passport expires and he gets stuck in Canada. Fingers crossed.
